Welcome to Nostalgia, we host of parties playing the best in old school house, dance and garage from the days when you fell in love with the clubbing scene. Starting in 2007, over the course of the night we’ll take you back year by year to the early 90’s where it all began. It was a time when HB pencils were used to rewind cassette tapes so you wouldn’t miss recording the all important Sunday Top 40, pirate radio stations were massive and helped organise all the illegal raves in your nearest field and you wouldn’t dream of being late to meet your friends as phones were still in big red boxes. All the boys had a crush on the Fun House twins and all the girls had it bad for Saved By The Bell’s Zac. Not to mention our love for Grange Hill.
Sadly (or maybe thankfully) times have changed but for most people who have become somewhat, dare I say older, the need for a decent night out is greater than it ever was because all the parties you hear of now are in a warehouse or disused car park selling cheap spirits in plastic cups and you feel lucky if there’s a lock on the toilet door.
For all those who have kept going till today “FOR THE LOVE OF HOUSE”, this is for you. Join Nostalgia at The Doll House (7-8 Bishopsgate Churchyard, EC2M 3TJ) and let us take you back down memory lane with the best of the best…
